Money and percentage fields — they format themselves

Type into one and leave it: 30000 settles to $30,000.00, 30 to 30%. While it has focus the keystrokes stay exactly as typed, so the caret never jumps. A percentage field takes a percentage and stores basis points; nobody is ever asked to type 500 for 5%.

Server form. Posts its text; the action parses it once.

Receipt pictures

BD-129. Every small receipt picture in the app is this one control, and the picture is the control — there is no View beside it. Tapping it opens the shared viewer: the label, then the kind, the date and the total through Money, an ✕ that is 44px with its word in the label, Escape to close, and focus back on the tile. On a phone it is full-bleed on the teal scrim. A file with no picture is a tile and not a button, because there is nothing to open.

The three tile sizes — a console row, a list, the crew card

44px on a row and in a list where the line is one line; 80px on CREW-03's card, where the picture is the thing that says which receipt this is.

A PDF invoice, and a claim with no picture at all

A PDF opens the viewer's PDF window — an iframe at this width, and below 640 the header, the size and one 48px Open PDF, because iOS paints page one of an embedded PDF and refuses to scroll it. A LOG-9 cash claim has no file by construction, so its tile is a picture-shaped fact rather than a control.

Match suggestions and the archive

MAT-4 / BD-124. Suggest-only: a set is offered, a person presses Accept, and nothing is ever filed automatically. Amounts are exact to the cent — no MAT-7 tolerance across a set, because with slack every near sum is equally near and the right one is indistinguishable from the wrong ones. Dates rank the answers; they never remove one. The red trash can beside it archives and does not delete (invariant 3), which is what 'View archived' is there to show.

Ask the matcher

Four answers, and the shape is the difference between a screen that tells the truth and one that does not: what was matched, the one candidate it will not take on its own, the chooser when several fit exactly, or nothing — with the reason it found nothing. Only a person's press ever writes a match.

The two strips look alike and are not. Jev's carries a calibrated percentage — it is the claim 'right about nine times in ten'. The matcher's carries what differs and no number at all, because a match score is a weighing of amount, date and vendor, and a figure beside it would be read as a probability.

Investor picker

ADM-11 / BD-126. One field where there used to be a drop-down beside a text box: typing finds the investors already on file and brings their details, and a name that matches nobody makes a new party. Their details travel with them; their terms do not — the owner's own caveat, said once on the screen. Archived investors never appear (BD-123).

Picking somebody locks the fields `saveTerms` would ignore, rather than leaving controls on screen that quietly do nothing.

File row

ADM-28 / BD-125. One hairline-separated line per file at every width, and the owner's red trash can on it — 'Red trash belongs next to the file on the same row'. It archives: the row keeps who archived it and when, the receipt or invoice behind the file goes with it, and 'View archived (n)' under the list brings it back. Icon-only with its word in the label, which is the one place BD-103's 'icon and word' gives way — to BD-112 (j)'s rule that the row stays one line and the name keeps the space.

The selection bar — what you can do to what you picked

BD-127. Controls rather than a menu: BD-103 puts the line at four and these sit over it, but the rule's own reasoning is that a disclosure is right over *rare* actions, and every one of these is what a person opened the shelf to do. It only exists while something is selected.

Trash can then download, in that order, because the owner asked for the download icon to the right of the trash can. Both icon-only with their word in the label — the one place BD-103's 'icon and word' gives way, to the rule that the row stays one line. BD-144 (e): a receipt or an invoice is the one row with a second line, under the whole row — 'Reading total…', then what it became with 'Read by AI' until a person touches it; or the fields a read could not fill, saved as the person.
